This Mother’s Day, I had the incredible opportunity to meet 9 beautiful mothers, grandmothers, and their children during my Mother’s Day mini sessions. Held in the stunning gardens of St Aubins Village Rockhampton (you can visit their website here: St Aubins Village), the weekend was filled with love, laughter, and countless moments of connection. It was an absolute privilege to capture these precious memories for each family.
Meeting New Families and Reconnecting with Returning Ones
The weekend was special not only because of the new families I had the chance to meet, but also because of the familiar faces that returned for another session. There’s something so beautiful about working with families again—seeing how much the kids have grown, and watching the bond between mums and their children strengthen. It was heartwarming to witness these transformations and be a part of their ongoing story.
Meeting new mums, nannies, and children was equally exciting. Each family brought their own unique energy and joy to the sessions. From the sweet smiles to the playful giggles, every moment was a reminder of the beauty of motherhood. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to document such special memories.
A Personal Connection to Every Session
As a Rockhampton photographer and a mum myself, I know how fast time flies. Those quiet, everyday moments—the bedtime snuggles, the playful moments, the shared looks of love—are the ones that often get overlooked but are truly the heart of your family’s story. Being able to capture these for so many families meant so much to me.
Every session was a reminder of why I do what I do. I feel privileged to help preserve the fleeting moments of motherhood, so that these memories will last for years to come. The laughs, the hugs, the love—it was all so beautiful to witness, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.

Thank You for a Wonderful Weekend
To all the amazing mums, grandmas, and children who took part in my Mother’s Day mini sessions, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whether you were a returning family or one I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time, it was such an honour to capture your family’s love and connection. I hope the photos we created together will be cherished for many years.
For those who missed out on this year's mini sessions, don't worry! I’d love to work with you in the future and create beautiful memories with your family.
A Special Happy Mother’s Day
To all the mums, grandmas, and mother figures out there, I want to take a moment to wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day! Motherhood is a journey full of love, chaos, joy, and growth, and you are doing an incredible job. Take time today to celebrate the love and bond you share with your children, no matter how big or small those moments may seem. It’s the everyday acts of love, the quiet cuddles, the shared laughter—those are the moments that make motherhood so magical.
Thank you again to everyone who participated in the mini sessions. I am so grateful for the opportunity to tell your family’s story, and I look forward to capturing many more memories with you in the future.
Looking Ahead
I can’t wait to create more beautiful memories with you all. Motherhood is full of incredible moments, and I’m so thankful to be able to capture these special times for your family.
Once again, Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums and mother figures. You are truly appreciated!
Motherhood mini sessions are a rare and special opportunity that I offer only a few times a year.
These sessions are designed to capture the intimate bond between a mother and her children in a unique and heartfelt way. Whether we're in a garden of blooming flowers, a sunlit studio with beautiful windows, a retro car, or a peaceful forest or creek, the location is always chosen to inspire and enhance the connection between you and your little ones.
These mini sessions are perfect for any mother—whether you're breastfeeding, pregnant, or simply want to preserve a moment with your children.
Lasting about 30 minutes, they are a shorter, more affordable option compared to my full sessions, making them accessible for those who may not be able to invest in a full session.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to have you on the waitlist to be the first to know when these intimate sessions are available!
